LINKS: Former Beaver Jack Colletto Pushing To Make Pittsburgh Steelers Roster
Former Oregon State Beaver Jack Colletto, now in his second year as a professional, has reportedly been impressing in training camp with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Particularly, offensive coordinator Arthur Smith and special teams coordinator Danny Smith have mentioned his effort specifically, as well as his potential to be of use on special teams for Pittsburgh.
"I give Jack a lot of credit because we've challenged him, and he's been very physical out here, and he's a smart football player, and the big picture will have to develop," Arthur Smith told media this past week.
Colletto recovered a fumble this preseason in Pittsburgh's August 9 loss to Houston.

The Camas, Washington native was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent last spring, but was moved to the practice squad after training camp before being released. He was then picked up by the Steelers' practice squad, and signed a reserves/futures contract with Pittsburgh this past January.
Colletto was literally a Jack of all trades for the Beavers, playing quarterback, linebacker, and fullback. He won the Paul Hornung Award in 2022 as the most versatile player in college football.
