Former Oregon State Beavers cornerback Nahshon Wright was traded from the Dallas Cowboys to the Minnesota Vikings over the weekend. The Cowboys received cornerback Andrew Booth in the exchange.

Wright played two seasons (2019 ad 2020) at Oregon State after transferring from Laney College. He finished his Division I college career with 64 tackles, five interceptions, six passes defended, and a forced fumble. He was a third-round selection by the Cowboys in 2021. He appeared in 32 games with three starts for the Cowboys, where he had 37 tackles and five passes defended with an interception.

In other NFL Beavers news, former Oregon State running back DeShaun Fenwick was resigned by the New England Patriots this week. The rookie Fenwick signed with the Patriots in May, was released at the beginning of August, and now rejoins the team just under two weeks later. Fenwick rushed for over 1500 yards and 16 touchdowns in three seasons at OSU.
