Oregon State Football Bumps Sacramento State Game To 2029
The Oregon State Beavers were originally scheduled to host the Big Sky Conference's Sacramento State Hornets on September 5, 2026. Per FBSchedules.com, however, that contest has now been rescheduled for Saturday, September 1, 2029.
Oregon State has now scheduled a game against the Houston Cougars for that same day in 2026.

The Beavers have an agreement in place with the Mountain West Conference to fill out their football schedule this season, but that agreement ends in August of 2025. OSU and Washington State, and leadership of the Pac-12, need to make a decision about the conference's future prior to the 2026 football season since their two-school membership falls below FBS requirements. All that to say, Oregon State football's schedules for the next several years are a bit up in the air.
Sacramento State is slated to be paid $600,000 for their trip to Corvallis in five years. The Hornets were picked to finish fifth in the Big Sky Conference this upcoming season.
