Oregon State LB Semisi Saluni Named to Polynesian Player of the Year Watch List

The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame announced Thursday the watch list for the 2024 Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award.

96 players from 37 different FBS schools made this year's list. One member of the Oregon State Beavers made the list in linebacker/defensive lineman Semisi Saluni.

Saluni has appeared in all 39 of Oregon State's contests over the last three seasons. He made 17 tackles in that time with one tackle for a loss and a pass deflection. A rising senior from Concord, California, Saluni was a three-star recruit in the class of 2018. He spent two years on an LDS mission before joining OSU, first seeing the field in 2021.

Five finalists for the 2024 Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award will be unveiled on December 3 and the winner will be announced on December 17.
