While the still-ongoing rounds of conference realignment seem to threaten some of college football's longest-running rivalries, the rivalry between Oregon and Oregon State will continue for at-least two more seasons. In 2024, the 128th chapter of the rivalry formerly known as the "Civil War" comes to Reser Stadium.

Oregon leads the all-time series with 68 wins while OSU has 49 wins. The two teams have tied ten times in the series' history.

The Ducks won last season's meeting in Eugene 31-7. Oregon State's most recent win was in 2022 38-34. Since 2015, three games between the two sides have been decided by 20 points or more, all Oregon wins.

Oregon State will play the next two seasons as an independent while facing a schedule heavy with Mountain West Conference opponents. Dan Lanning's Ducks play their first season as members of the Big Ten Conference in 2024, leaving the future of the series beyond 2025 in limbo, for now.
