The preseason LBM Coaches Poll was released on Monday, sharing who most of FBS college football's top coaches think will lead the pack in the 2024 college football season. Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, and Alabama round out the top five.

The Oregon State Beavers were absent from the Top 25 and received no votes in the poll.

Last season, Oregon State reached as high as #10 in the coaches poll. In the top 25 released on December 3 prior to the start of bowl season, the Beavers were #22. Following a loss to Notre Dame in the Sun Bowl, they were two spots shy of the final top 25. OSU was #19 in the final College Footbal Playoff top 25, however.

The Beavers are set to open the season on August 31 when they host the Idaho State Bengals at Reser Stadium.
