Ahead of the 2024 college football season, one major piece of Oregon State's offense will be veteran offensive lineman Joshua Gray. Gray has been a regular starter at left tackle for the Beavers for the last four seasons.

While Gray has found a modicum of success at tackle for the Beavers, his future may lie at a different position in the NFL. Beavers' head coach Trent Bray confirmed this week that Ray will take reps at multiple spots along the offensive line during fall camp and beyond.

"He played tackle mostly for us. He wants to move inside, especially for his opportunity at the next level. So he'll play guard, center for us and work that to make him more valuable at that next level. But he's going to be learning a lot of new things about the inside positions as we go through fall camp."

Bray indicated he's not worried about Gray's ability to learn multiple positions.

"It will be easy for him. Coach Michalczik did a great job all the time of teaching all those guys all five spots. Coach DeVan does the same thing. So that transition's not that tough, but it will take a little work of physically doing it."

Gray has appeared in 44 games over the last four seasons and finished 2023 with a 69.2 PFF overall grade

The Beavers continue fall camp this week and officially open the 2024 season on August 31 when they host the Idaho State Bengals.
