Hawaiian quarterback recruit Jaron Keawe Sagapolutele has been a major target of Trent Bray's Oregon State staff this recruiting cycle. The Beavers made their official offer in early March.

Per 247Sports 2025 prospect rankings, Sagapolutele is the top uncommitted quarterback in the class and is the #1 recruit in the state of Hawaii.

After Sagapolutele boosted his draft stock tremendously with his performance at this month's Elite 11 finals, ESPN recruiting writer Eli Lederman took note of the Ewa Beach's product's options.

"Oregon State leads the race for Sagapolutele's commitment, but Boise State and Cal have each left a strong impression and his commitment would represent a major recruiting victory for either school," Lederman notes.

The Beavers currently have 10 reported verbal commits in Trent Bray's first recruiting class. Sagapolutele completed his official visit to Corvallis on June 7.
