Zac Stascausky of Portland's Central Catholic High School is rated by 247Sports as the #1 offensive tackle and the #4 overall prospect in the state of Oregon for the class of 2025.

While Stascausky was highly coveted by major programs across the country, including the Oregon State Beavers, the three-star prospect has made his college choice clear. He announced his commitment to Washington Huskies this week on X.

Stascausky is listed at 6'6" and 290 pounds on his X page. He chose the Huskies over an offer from the Beavers, as well as Minnesota, Boise State, Arizona, Arizona State, and Washington State, among others.

It's a tough loss for the Beavers' recruiting staff, but not one they will likely dwell on for long. Oregon State still have 11 reported verbal commitments in the class of 2025, including interior offensive lineman Jake Normoyle of West Linn, who sat just ahead of Stascausky in 247Sports' Oregon prospect rankings for 2025. The outlet currently ranks Oregon State as the #75 class in the country for 2025.

The Beavers open the 2024 season on August 31 when they host Idaho State at Reser Stadium.
