RECRUITING: Oregon State Football Lands 2025 Cardinal Newman Edge Rusher

The Oregon State Beavers added another commitment to their 2025 recruiting class on Monday. Defensive end Jesse Myers of Northern California announced his commitment to Oregon State to become the eighth reported commit in the class, per 247Sports.

Myers' measurements are reported at 6'3" and 230 pounds. He received a three-star rating from 247Sports and was listed at #133 in the outlet's list of 2025 California recruits.

"I am blessed to announce that I have committed to Oregon State! I am excited for what the future holds and ready to get to work! Go Beavs," Myers noted on social media.

Per his MaxPreps page, Myers has 127 tackles over the last three seasons with 14 tackles for loss and 29.5 sacks for Cardinal Newman. He also registered 28 quarterback hurries last season, adding to a defense that had the second-most sacks in the Pac-12 last season with 38.

Myers' first chance to sign his NLI will be December 4, 2024.
