TRANSFER PORTAL: Oregon State Safety Ian Massey Enters Transfer Portal

Ahead of a historic season for the Oregon State Beavers football program, another veteran player has entered the transfer portal. Safety Ian Massey formally announced his intention on social media to play elsewhere with one season of eligibility remaining.

Now a redshirt senior graduate student, the 219-pound defender did not appear in a game for the Beavers in 2023.

Massey appeared in five games over the course of three seasons for Oregon State. A native of Houston, Texas, Massey played two seasons at Trinity Valley Community College in his home state. There, he had 78 tackles with two interceptions, six pass breakups, and six tackles for loss.

Oregon State open the 2024 football season on August 31 against Idaho State. It will be the first game of Trent Bray's tenure as head coach of the Beavers.
