Kylor Kelley only played two seasons of basketball at Oregon State, but still left his mark as one of the best defensive players in program history. Kelley holds eight different program records pertaining to blocked shots and has the seventh-most blocked shots in the history of Pac-12 basketball.

Kelley's latest professional opportunity will come with the Los Angeles Lakers, who signed Kelley this week to a reported Exhibit-10 contract.

Exhibit-10 contracts allow a franchise to sign a player to their roster during the offseason without counting against the 15-player roster max (not including the allowed three two-way contracts) that is enforced during the season.

Kelley finished his time at Oregon State in 2020 with 211 blocks, plus averages of 9.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

Last season for the Maine Celtics, Kelley averaged 8.4 points on 68.6 percent shooting from the field, 6.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.9 blocks. He was named to the 2024 NBA G League All-Defensive Team for his efforts. He blocked a105 shots in a season, setting the Maine team record. He played for the Oklahoma City Thunder's Summer League team, most recently.

Kelley needs a few more things to fall his way to make the Lakers roster for the upcoming regular season, but signing this deal is good first step.
