Former Oregon State Beaver Drew Eubanks Declines NBA Option, Enters Free Agency

Per ESPN"s Adrian Wojnarowski, Phoenix Suns center Drew Eubanks is declining his $2.6M player option and entering free agency. Eubanks had signed a two-year deal with the Suns prior to last season, with the second season being a player option.

Eubanks, a 6'9" power forward/center, enters his seventh season in the professional ranks.

The former Beaver and Troutdale, Oregon product entered the NBA prior to the 2018 season, signing with the San Antonio Spurs. Eubanks has a career scoring average of 5.9 points per game with an average of 4.6 rebounds per game.

Mostly coming off of the bench, Eubanks played 75 games for the Suns in 2023 with six starts. He averaged 5.7 points in three playoff games for the Suns this season, as Phoenix was eliminated in their opening playoff series by the Clippers.

In three seasons at Oregon State (2015-2017) Eubanks started 94 games and finished his career third in blocked shots (163) in school history. He was the #1 recruit in the state of Oregon for the class of 2015,
