Oregon State Men's Soccer Picked First in 2024 WCC Preseason Poll
The Oregon State Beavers' men's soccer program will play their first season in the West Coast Conference in 2024 following the breakdown of the Pac-12 conference. Despite the switch, the Beavers' exceptional momentum following a run to the NCAA semifinals is expected to continue.
The Beavers were even picked first in the WCC preseason coaches poll this week. The Beavs received four of the possible nine first place votes. The full poll is below.
Oregon State also landed four players on the preseason all-conference team.
Interestingly, three teams from the WCC are ranked in the national top 25 to start the year. Oregon State are the highest-ranked squad in that bunch. However, the #22 Portland Pilots are picked ahead of #11 Loyola Marymount. LMU was also picked behind an unranked San Diego team.
