The Oregon State women's soccer program have found a head coach heading into the 2024 season. OSU's athletic department announced Tuesday that assistant coach Caroline Kelly had been elevated to the role of interim head coach.

Kelly replaces Lauren Sinacola, who resigned the head coach position in June. Sinacola held the position for three seasons and led OSU to a top-25 ranking. Her final season in Corvallis ended in a record of 4-8-7.

"I'm thankful to Scott Barnes, Jeff Macy and the search committee for providing me with this opportunity to lead Oregon State Women's Soccer this season," Kelly said in a press release. "I love the Beaver family and the Corvallis community and am excited to keep pushing this program forward. Go Beavs!"

Kelly's responsibilites as an assistant were primarily coaching the goalkeepers and defenders, in addition to being the program's recruiting coordinator. Four OSU women have reached the professional ranks since she took the position in 2021.

Oregon State's preseason begins on August 4 with an exhibition against the Oregon Ducks.
