Olympic Beavers: OSU Basketball Alum Ali Gibson Wraps Second Olympics with Puerto Rico
Former Oregon State guard Ali Gibson has completed her second Olympics representing Puerto Rico. After playing with her adopted nation in the Tokyo Olympics as well, Gibson made the trip to Paris this summer as a reserve. Gibson's mother is a native of Puerto Rico, which made her eligible for the national team.
The Puerto Rican women were once again unable to advance past the group stages, losing all three of their contests. Gibson was a reserve in each. She finished her time in the tournament playing 23 minutes, accumulating five points, three rebounds, an assist, and a steal.
