Oregon Ducks women's basketball got some news on Thursday. It just wasn't the good news the program was probably hoping for.

Veteran Oregon guard Endyia Rogers has entered her name into the 2023 WNBA Draft, the league announced on Thursday.

During the 2022-2023 season Rogers averaged 15.9 points, 3.9 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game over 35 games, leading the team in points and assists. She started every game she played in.

Rogers was an effective shooter as well, shooting 38.7% from three-point range and 45.3% from the floor.

Oregon's top player spent two seasons in Eugene, earning All-Pac-12 first-team honors both years after transferring from USC prior to the 2021 season.

She formed a dynamic duo with fellow guard Te-Hina Paopao, who found some consistency during the home stretch of the season. The Ducks finished the season with a 20-15 overall record, going 7-11 in Pac-12 play and finishing the year with a 63-59 loss to the Washington Huskies in the WNIT Great 8.

Rogers and Taya Hansen are the two departures from the 2022-2023 roster, which projects to return Paopao, Chance Gray, Kennedy Basham and Phillipina Kyei among others.

Head Coach Kelly Graves signed three recruits inside the top 70 in the class of 2023 in guard Sofia Bell (Portland, OR), forward Sarah Rambus (Flint, MI) and  wing Sammie Wagner (San Antonio, TX).
