Increased Health in Oregon's Depth Chart has the Ducks' Coaching Staff Excited

Several players on the Oregon roster have been dealing with injuries so far this season, but as everyone returns closer to full health, the offense will be able to expand and excel.

The Oregon Ducks started with one hand tied behind their back. Veteran pass-catcher Brenden Schooler was dealing with a foot injury, graduate transfer wide receiver Juwan Johnson was struggling to see the field with a nagging calf injury, and freshman athlete Mycah Pittman was still hampered by a shoulder injury.

Now, as the Ducks prepare to take on the California Golden Bears in their home conference-opener on Saturday, two of those three players are expected to be back on the field, and the Ducks' offense will be better for it.

Offensive Coordinator, Marcus Arroyo was quick to mention how impressed he was with the Oregon program on Tuesday, as he had watched them weather the injury storm so far this season. It wasn't always easy for them, but the depth and focus that the Ducks have shown have gotten them this far, and once they continue to get back to full health, the sky is the limit for this team.
