Injury Update: Brenden Schooler and Mycah Pittman Cleared to Play Against Cal
With a big game conference game for the Ducks on Saturday, it is important that they get their roster closer to full strength as they prepare for a tough stretch of games over the next several weeks.
Oregon coach Mario Cristobal updated the media on Wednesday about the status of a few players. To start, Cristobal announced that freshman quarterback Cale Millen will be held out for the rest of the season due to a shoulder injury, and lineman Justin Johnson has decided to take a medical retirement from the game of football.
On a lighter note, Cristobal announced that both Brenden Schooler and Mycah Pittman will be cleared to play on Saturday, and will likely see a lot of action. In addition, Cristobal was able to announce that Devon Williams, a transfer from USC, who briefly was thought to go to Oregon State, was officially on the roster. He declined to comment on whether he ever thought that the Ducks would lose Williams to Oregon State.
