Two of Oregon's most important players are on track to play this week against the Utes.

Oregon got some positive news on the injury front to start one of their biggest weeks of the season.

On Monday, head coach Dan Lanning said that he expects both starting cornerback Khyree Jackson and running back Bucky Irving to play this weekend when the Ducks travel to Salt Lake City to take on the No. 13 Utah Utes.

Both players were also able to practice to open the week.

"I think those guys'll be good to go this weekend," Lanning said. "They were all out there with practice today."

Jackson was the bigger question mark between him and Irving. He was seen in street clothes during the Washington State game last weekend after going through pregame warmups.

The Ducks started Trikweze Bridges and Nikko Reed in his absence and Jahlil Florence continued to see a lot of snaps, recording his first sack of the season.

Washington State wide receiver Lincoln Victor set an Autzen Stadium record with 16 catches, which was assisted by quarterback Cameron Ward's ability to escape sacks and extend plays outside the pocket.

Jackson's return to action will be an important one for the Ducks as they look to contain a Utah offense that exploded against USC in a dramatic 34-32 win.

As for Irving, he got banged up and went down in the fourth quarter against the Cougars before re-entering the game as Oregon took a knee to seal the win.

He had a career day for Oregon, recording 180 all-purpose yards and scoring three touchdowns--two on the ground and one through the air.

The duo of Irving and Jordan James has been effective and the Ducks haven't missed a beat after losing Noah Whittington to a season-ending injury against Colorado.
