NFL Scouting Combine updates as 2025 NFL Draft hopefuls look to boost their draft stock at at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. On Sunday, Oregon offensive lineman Josh Conerly Jr. will work out, starting at 10 a.m. PT and ending at 2 p.m. PT.

NFL Draft prospects will compete in position drills as well as: 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, three-cone drill, 20-yard shuttle, 60-yard shuttle. On Saturday, Oregon Ducks quarterback Dillon Gabriel, receivers Tez Johnson, Traeshon Holden and running back Jordan James worked out.

The Combine begins at 12 p.m. PT on Thursday, Feb. 27 and lasts until 2 p.m. PT on Sunday, March 2. Oregon is led by projected first-round picks Josh Conerly Jr. and Harmon.

  • Oregon offensive lineman Josh Conerly Jr. ran his 40-yard dash in an unofficial 5.06 seconds. His 10-yard split of 1.71 seconds was the fastest of all linemen who ran in the first group.
  • Conerly Jr. led all lineman in first group with a vertical leap with 34.5 inches.

  • Johnson issued a warning to reporters on Friday before he runs his 40-yard dash as part of his NFL Combine workout: "If you blink, you might miss me," he said.
  • Oregon Ducks tight end Terrance Ferguson awed in his work out on Friday at the combine. Ferguson finished with the best 40-yard dash time of all tight ends, running an impressive 4.63-second 40 (1.55 10-yard split) with a 39-inch vertical and 10-2 broad jump. Ferguson has been tabbed as a prospect with a rising NFL Draft stock, solidifying a Day 2 (Rounds 2-3) selection.

Oregon Ducks Dillon Gabriel is garnering attention for his confidence in his ability over his 5-foot-11 height. "I'm not for everyone," Gabriel told CBS Sports.

FRIDAY

On Friday, Oregon Ducks tight end Terrance Ferguson and cornerback Jabbar Muhammad worked out. Oregon Ducks quarterback Dillon Gabriel, receivers Tez Johnson, Traeshon Holden and running back Jordan James talked to the media.

  • Oregon Ducks tight end Terrance Ferguson ran the 40-yard dash on Friday. He finished with an unofficial time of 4.63 seconds on his second attempt. Ferguson's first attempt of 4.64 seconds was the fastest first attempt by any tight end who ran.
  • Ferguson led all tight ends with a 39.00-inch vertical jump, although notable prospects like Penn State's Tyler Warren and Michigan's Colston Loveland did not participate in drills like the vertical or 40-yard dash.

  • According to James Crepea of The Oregonian, Oregon defensive back Jabbar Muhammad is not running the 40-yard dash on Friday. He participated in other drills with the defensive backs, but he is planning to complete the 40-yard dash as well as other speed drills at the Ducks' pro day, per Crepea.
  • Oregon Ducks running back Jordan James is racking up the formal interviews at the NFL Combine, meeting with the Washington Commanders, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Steelers according to The Draft Network's Ryan Fowler.
  • Projected first-round NFL Draft quarterback Jaxson Dart from Ole Miss talked to former Oregon Ducks center Jackson Powers-Johnson about the Las Vegas Raiders. Dart has a relationship with former Oregon head coach Chip Kelly, who recruited him out of high school.
  • Oregon Ducks quarterback Dillon Gabriel spoke at the NFL Combine on Friday morning, and he was asked about his meeting with the Las Vegas Raiders and offensive coordinator Chip Kelly before the NFL Draft. The former Oregon Ducks star had an offseason procedure but is already working out at the Denver team facility, according to Broncos general manager George Paton at the NFL Combine.

An Oregon program-record 12 players received invitations to the combine, crushing the previous record of seven Ducks.

The 12 Oregon players who were invited to the combine are: quarterback Dillon Gabriel, running back Jordan James, wide receivers Tez Johnson and Traeshon Holden, tight end Terrance Ferguson, offensive linemen Josh Conerly Jr. and Ajani Cornelius, defensive linemen Jordan Burch, Jamaree Caldwell and Derrick Harmon, linebacker Jeffrey Bassa, and cornerback Jabbar Muhammad. 

There were eight Ducks drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft, which set a new program record. 2025 NFL mock drafts list 10-11 Ducks selected, which would break that record.

POTENTIAL NFL TEAM FITS

The Los Angeles Rams have been tied to Conerly Jr. to replace their breakout offensive tackle Alaric Jackson, who they may lose to free agency. The Minnesota Vikings are linked to Harmon with their first round pick.

Could Johnson be drafted to the Denver Broncos to reunite with his brother, quarterback Bo Nix? A recent mock draft from Bleacher Report has Denver selecting Johnson in the third round to join Denver coach Sean Payton’s fast-paced offense, an intriguing possibility and a would be "dream come true" for Johnson.

The Dallas Cowboys want to draft a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to executive vice president Stephen Jones and Gabriel could be a good fit. The Cowboys are set with Dak Prescott as starter but may need depth as both of Dallas' backup quarterbacks Cooper Rush and Trey Lance are unrestricted free agents this offseason.

While quarterbacks Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward may steal headlines in a battle of which quarterback will be drafted first - Gabriel is the most experienced quarterback in the draft, with all the tools to be successful in the NFL.

Oregon Ducks coach Dan Lanning raved about his former players who competed in the Senior Bowl, a group of NFL Draft hopefuls who have a chance to make Oregon history come April.

"They did an unbelievable job," Lanning told Duck Insider. "We're so grateful for the time that they gave us. It's fun when you talk about those guys, some of those guys had the decision, do they come back or not? What's the future look like? I think all of them, you know, appreciate the opportunity to come back, get better football, spend time with their teammates, and they've all performed really well."

"Now our goal is to see how high every one of those guys can get drafted. Unbelievable humans that are also great football players, that some NFL team is going to be really lucky to have," Lanning continued.

Where will Oregon's players be drafted? The 2025 NFL Draft is April 24-26 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
