No. 8 Oregon Opens as Slight Betting Favorite vs. No. 13 Utah

Oregon takes their college football playoff hopes on the road to Salt Lake City.
In this story:

The No. 8 Oregon Ducks (6-1, 3-1 Pac-12) are still in full control of their destiny after defeating the Washington State Cougars 38-24 on Saturday.

Now the Ducks will take their college football playoff aspirations on the road to Salt Lake City for a prime time matchup against the No. 13 Utah Utes (6-1, 3-1 Pac-12).

Utah is coming off a thrilling 34-32 win over No. 18 USC on the road in Los Angeles. Bryson Barnes has filled in beautifully for Cameron Rising, who head coach Kyle Whittingham announced on Saturday will not play in 2023.

The Utes always field a great defense and have one of the best coaching staffs in the country year after year.

The Ducks haven't won in Salt Lake City since 2016, but they boast one of the best offenses in college football and a talented defense that continues to show signs of improvement week after week.
