Oregon Down to One Kicker On Depth Chart

With two unexpected departures this week, the Ducks find themselves very thin at the kicker position.

The Oregon Ducks are down to just one kicker on the depth chart, according to Matt Prehm of 247sports. Clearly, a lot has changed since the weekend, as the Ducks have lost two kickers in two days.

Adam Stack, who made 6 out of 10 field goals as Oregon’s primary kicker last season, and has since been replaced by freshman Camden Lewis, has requested to transfer schools.

“We certainly respect that and will help him in any way that we can,” Cristobal acknowledged on Monday.

The Ducks’ third kicker: junior walk-on kicker Zach Emerson, was arrested on September 2nd on counts of Criminal Mischief and Criminal Trespassing and is not currently with the team, per 247Sports.

This leaves only Lewis, who is listed on the roster as the starting kicker and placekicker and has started in both games so far this season. Through two games, he’s missed his only field goal attempt against Auburn, but has connected on 7 out of 7 PATs.
