The lowest current price is $425 in the upper level. Tickets are going for as much as $1,179 and prices are only expected to get higher as October 12th gets closer.
There are storylines galore in this matchup.
For Lanning, the Big Ten showdown is a chance to establish the Ducks as a force in their new conference, while Ohio State looks to maintain its conference dominance.
Ohio State offensive coordinator, and former Oregon coach, Chip Kelly returns to Eugene after leaving UCLA for the Buckeyes. Kelly will certainly have some surprises for the Ducks and they will have some twists of their own for their former coach.
During Kelly's time in Oregon (2007-2012), he led the Ducks to a BCS bowl game in all four seasons, including a National Championship appearance in 2011. Kelly also coached the Ducks to three consecutive Pac-12 conference championship wins. Kelly left Oregon in 2013 for the NFL, where he coached the Philadelphia Eagles (2013-2015) and San Francisco 49ers (2016.)
Oregon boasts arguably one of the best groups of offensive weapons in college football and the country's top transfer quarterback, Dillon Gabriel.
The Ducks' transfer class is No. 2 in the nation and includes Gabriel, quarterback Dante Moore, wide receiver Evan Stewart, and lockdown cornerback Jabbar Muhammad, safety Kobe Savage, defensive lineman Derrick Harmon and defensive lineman Jamaree Caldwell.
The home field advantage at Autzen Stadium could very well play a role in the outcome of what should be an epic football game between two budding rivals.
Duck fans are instructed to wear black when Ohio State comes to Autzen Stadium.
When asked about the Ohio State game on the Jim Rome show, Oregon coach Dan Lanning said, “Unbelievable team. We’re certainly not looking ahead, but you can’t look at your schedule and not recognize who there’s opportunities to play and Ohio State has done an unbelievable job year in and year out. They’ve had a lot of success, they’re well coached, they’ve recruited really well, and they’ve built a history.”
The Oregon football team is nearing the end of its fall camp practices. The Ducks have put emphasis on physicality leading up to the Ducks' inaugural season in the Big Ten conference.
"The weight room for us has been fantastic, phenomenal," Oregon receiver Gary Bryant told Oregon Ducks on SI reporter Bri Amaranthus. "Everything that we've been doing this off season is going to pay off for us. So I'm excited to put that on tape for everybody else to see."
