The Ducks are on their way out the door after plenty of chaos.

The Oregon Ducks plan to leave the Pac-12 and join the Big Ten conference.

After a week of chaos following Colorado's departure to the Big 12, a new Pac-12 media deal, Oregon will join the Big Ten starting in 2024. The move was first reported by Brett McMurphy of Action Network on Friday morning.

Oregon won't make the move alone however, as they'll be joined by their longtime rival, the Washington Huskies, who will expand the conference to 18 member schools.

Oregon and Washington become the third and fourth schools the Big Ten has poached from the Pac-12 after USC and UCLA got the party started last year with moves of their own.

The Ducks' departure looked like it was a real possibility on Thursday when Big Ten sources told McMurphy there was no more research or information needed on Oregon and Washington and that they had all they needed.

Oregon and Washington's departures could be a fatal blow to the Pac-12, as the conference is also in danger of losing Arizona, Arizona State and Utah to the Big 12.
