Two Oregon players found themselves in elite company on Wednesday.

Wide receiver Troy Franklin and center Jackson Powers-Johnson were named midseason Associated Press All-Americans.

Franklin was named to the mid-season second team and has been on a tear thus far in 2023. Through six games, he's reeled in 40 passes for 689 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, which is tied for the most in the Pac-12 (Brenden Rice-USC, Jacob Cowing-Arizona).

The junior wideout has five games with at least 100 receiving yards, which is just one away from an Oregon single season record. He's also averaging 114.8 receiving yards per game, a mark that ranks seventh nationally.

Franklin has had an elite connection with quarterback Bo Nix all season, and he's on pace to become just the 12th player in program history to record 1,000 receiving yards in a season, a milestone last reached by Dillon Mitchell in 2018 (1,184).

Powers-Johnson landed on the AP mid-season All-American first team and is one of many standouts along a Ducks offensive line that was named to the Joe Moore Award midseason honor roll recognizing the best offensive line in college football.

He's started all six games for the Ducks at center and has shined in his first year as the new full-time starter following in the footsteps of Alex Forsyth

The junior from Utah paces the Oregon offensive line with 19 knockdowns and is the top pass-blocking center in the nation according to Pro Football Focus, grading out at 90.0.

He's surrendered just one quarterback pressure on the year and was also named the Pac-12 offensive lineman of the week after Oregon's 42-6 win over Colorado.
