The Oregon Ducks boast one of the best offensive lines in college football. The Ducks' tenacity in the trenches is led by experienced returners in tackle Josh Conerly Jr., tackle Ajani Cornelius and guard Marcus Harper II.

"Our connection is one-of-a-kind," said Harper II on what makes this Ducks offensive line special.

Harper II stands out in his fifth season at Oregon - a very uncommon path in the rise of the transfer portal - choosing to be a Duck through coaching changes (Mario Cristobal to Dan Lanning.)

Harper II and his line-mates are the unsung heroes of Oregon's offense. A vital piece to a Duck offense, Oregon's offensive line led the nation with just five sacks allowed for the second year in a row to former quarterback Bo Nix's delight.

In Harper II's swan song season, the Ducks have big plans for their inaugural season in the Big Ten conference, too.

It's about time Harper II and the Oregon offensive line got some well-deserved attention.

Welcome to The Big Mark Show, hosted by Marcus (Big Mark) Harper II!

In episode one, Harper II shows off his sense-of-humor as he interview the Oregon Duck and... himself. It's the Parent Trap with Harper II instead of Lindsey Lohan.

Who is the best dressed on the Oregon football team? What is the best thing Harper II did this summer? Who is the messiest Duck roommate? Who is the best cook? Why will Oregon surprise people in the Big Ten this year?

At 6-foot-3, 325-pounds, Harper's stats jump off the page as well: the Illinois-native played 749 snaps at left guard, allowing zero sacks and just six total pressures in 432 total pass-blocking opportunities in 2023.

In an example of why it's important to highlight the offensive line, Harper II had to recently correct a national publication that posted an incorrect photo of Harper II. Of course, mistakes happen.

On the field, watch for Harper II to dazzle with strength and pancakes against new Big Ten foes. Off the field, Harper is making his own way with his creativity and personality as host of The Big Mark Show.
