Elite Tight End Jaden Reddell Places Oregon in Top Five Schools
2024 Peculiar (Mo.) Raymore-Pecuiliar tight end Jaden Reddell is down to five schools.
On Wednesday he named a top five of Oregon, Alabama, Georgia Tennesse and Notre Dame.
Raddell is listed at 6'4", 233 pounds and is ranked the No. 4 tight end in the country for the 2024 class according to the 247Sports Composite.
He's rated a four-star (0.9665) recruit by the same service and ranked the No. 58 player in the nation.
Oregon has commitments from two tight ends in the 2024 class in AJ Pugliano and Jackson Ford, but that isn't stopping them from recruiting top talent. The Ducks are also recruiting 2024 tight end Roger Saleapaga II from Orem, Utah.
They've also landed a commitment from Tionne Gray, one of the state's top players along the defensive line.
Torres' Take
It's always great to land in an elite recruit's top schools, but I don't believe Oregon is much of a player here. There has been some interest though seeing that he's visited Eugene before and Dan Lanning being a Missouri native is likely why they're still in the running.
Seeing that they've already got two tight ends I don't really think Raddell is much of an option here. However, if he wants to commit to Oregon I doubt the staff would turn him away.
