Five-Star OT Jordan Seaton Taking Oregon Official Visit This Weekend
2024 Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy offensive lineman Jordan Seaton will take an official visit to Oregon this weekend. The visit was first reported by Josh Newberg of On3 Sports and a source confirmed the development with Ducks Digest Monday morning.
Seaton is listed at 6'5", 287 pounds and is rated a five-star (0.9868) recruit by the 247Sports Composite. The same system ranks him the No. 26 player nationally, the No. 2 offensive tackle and the No. 5 recruit in Florida.
He's already taken visits to like Alabama, Tennessee and Florida as he works to whittle down his list of 33 reported scholarship offers.
This is a massive development for offensive line coach A'lique Terry and the rest of the Oregon coaching staff, as they work to add more elite talent to a 2024 recruiting class that ranks No. 10 nationally. The Ducks have a lot of recruiting momentum after landing five-star defensive lineman Aydin Breland over the weekend and they're trending for top prospects like Elijah Rushing and Jason Brown Jr. as well.

The Ducks already hold commitments from offensive linemen JacQawn McRoy, Fox Crader, Devin Brooks and Trent Ferguson, but they'd love to add Seaton to the fold.
Torres' Take
This is a great development for Oregon recruiting. There were already a lot of rumors that he was going to make his way out to Eugene for a visit before his decision and I think this trip may be coming a bit earlier than some anticipated.
It's worth noting that Oregon hasn't had the best luck recruiting IMG in the past, but that doesn't mean they're going to shy away. Terry wants to recruit the best of the best and that's certainly what he's trying to do in his first full recruiting cycle back in Eugene.
What could help the Ducks here is that Seaton transferred from Washington, D.C. St. John's before this season, which is home to 2024 Oregon running back commit Da'Jaun Riggs. Does that put Oregon over the top? No, but it definitely doesn't hurt to build more connections with a recruit.
Despite the loss to Washington over the weekend, this is another example that Oregon still has a lot of recruiting momentum on the trail. Aside from Seaton, continue to monitor Tampa (Fla.) Catholic offensive lineman Eddy Pierre-Louis in the 2024 class, even though it appears he's trending to Oklahoma.
