Four-Star Cornerback Aaron Scott Jr. Places Oregon Among Top Schools

Aaron Scott Jr. was offered in January and is one of the top recruits in Ohio.
In this story:

Oregon has a long way to go before the end of the 2024 recruiting cycle, and they have continued to make top schools lists for some highly-touted recruits.

Easter Sunday was no exception, as 2024 cornerback Aaron Scott Jr. placed Oregon in his top twelve schools.

Oregon faces an uphill battle with Scott Jr however, as the heavy favorite is currently Ohio State. A few of the other top schools include Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Oregon.

Scott Jr. plays for Springfield (Ohio) High School and comes in at 6’0, 170 pounds.

Aaron is rated as a four star (0.9619) recruit by the 247Sports Composite. The composite also ranks him the nation’s No. 71 player, No. 9 CB, and N. 2 player in the state of Ohio.

Scott Jr. has been a very frequent flier this spring, with several visits to Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Michigan. Aaron was only offered by the Oregon coaching staff on January 20, calling Oregon his dream school.

Ohio State is still the clear leader as they hold two 247 Sports crystal ball predictions.

Oregon’s 2024 secondary already holds one commitment from recent pledge and fellow four-star Aaron Flowers from Forney (Tex.) High School. Cornerbacks  coach Demetrice Martin helped the Ducks sign five cornerbacks through the high school and transfer portal.

Oregon is also in the running for a few other top defensive backs, including: Xavier Filsaime, KJ Bolden, Kobe Black, and Bryce West.
