Jeremiah McClellan, 4-Star Wide Receiver, Locks in Oregon Official Visit
Saint Louis (MO.) Christian Brothers College High School wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan has locked four official visits for the month of June, according to Chad Simmons of On3 Sports.
McClellan is a four-star (0.9259 per 247Sports Composite) recruit and ranked inside the top 200 nationally.
He'll kick the month off in Baton Rouge for an official with the Brian Kelly and the Tigers. The following week will be a trip to Columbus to see Ohio State, who is the Crystal Ball leader. A week after that, McClellan will visit Tennessee, before making it back out to Oregon the following week for his official visit on June 23, a weekend that's shaping up to be a priority visit weekend for the Ducks.
McClellan was just recently in Eugene for the annual spring game and once again the Ducks are prioritizing final visits which has been a huge part of the staff’s recruiting success.
The 6-foot, 190-pound wide receiver has a commitment timeline of before his senior season or early on in the season according to Brandon Huffman of 247 Sports.
Ohio State I can pretty confidently say still leads, however McClellan had very good things to say about his visit to Oregon. It will definitely take a strong visit to sway the Missouri talent away from the Buckeyes, however we've seen this staff have extremely strong final visits as recently as February.
Missouri is becoming an increasingly important state for Oregon on the recruiting trail and that's likely no coincidence with Dan Lanning hailing from Kansas City. Oregon has already reached into the Show-Me-State once for a defensive prospect in defensive linemen Tionne Gray.
Oregon has several other prospects they've offered in the state but the headliner is Williams Nwaneri, the nation's top defensive lineman in 2024 who recently placed the Ducks in his top schools.
