Luke Moga, 2024 Dual-Threat Quarterback, Commits to Oregon
2024 Phoenix (Ariz.) Sunnyslope quarterback Luke Moga has committed to the Oregon Ducks.
Moga is rated a three-star (0.8835 per 247Sports Composite) recruit and has been a top quarterback target for offensive coordinator Will Stein since the Ducks offered him in January. The newest Oregon pledge is ranked the No. 519 player nationally, the No. 33 quarterback and the No. 11 recruit in Arizona for 2024.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound passer was just on campus in Eugene last weekend and is making a return trip for the spring game this weekend. He was originally scheduled to commit on Friday, but said that he would be delaying his commitment prior to scheduling his return trip this week.
Moga is the tenth player to commit to Oregon in the 2024 recruiting cycle and is the second commit of the week for the Ducks after landing tight end Jackson Ford from Melissa (Tex.) High. With the Arizona quarterback in the fold the Ducks have landed one of their top targets at the position and they may want to take multiple quarterbacks in 2024.
Attention now likely turns to Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy quarterback Michael Van Buren, who will visit Oregon this weekend for the spring game. He placed the Ducks in his top three schools along with Penn State and Maryland earlier this month after a trip to Eugene.
