2024 Conroe (Tex.) Oak Ridge linebacker Justin Williams has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. He announced his decision Monday night on the On3 Sports YouTube channel.

Williams, a five-star recruit in the 2024 class and the No. 1 linebacker according to the 247Sports Composite, chose the Bulldogs over the Oregon Ducks after narrowing his top schools to just two.

The top player in the state of Texas had been a top priority for Dan Lanning and the Ducks this cycle, taking numerous unofficial visits to Eugene before taking an official visit to Oregon this summer.

He also took an official visit to Georgia as the Bulldogs continue to flex their muscles on the recruiting trail. Williams joins Georgia's No. 1 ranked class in 2024 and becomes the third five-star prospect to hop in the fold, joining the likes of Dylan Raiola and Ellis Robinson IV

His pledge reunites him with his Oak Ridge teammate, defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, who committed earlier this month.

Oregon has two linebacker commits in the 2024 class in Dylan Williams and Kamar Mothudi, who both committed in July. The Ducks' class ranks No. 12 nationally according to 247Sports and is No. 2 in the Pac-12 behind the USC Trojans.

The next major commitment to watch for Duck fans is 2024 Springfield (Oh.) cornerback Aaron Scott Jr., who's scheduled to announce his decision on July 30. He'll chose from a final three of Michigan, Ohio State and Oregon.
