Oregon Commit Jordan Anderson Named 247Sports Alpha Dog at OT7 Austin
Wide receiver Jordan Anderson is one of the top offensive playmakers in the country.
He's always carried himself with a confidence that he can beat any defensive back that's lined up in front of him.
The 2024 Oregon Ducks wide receiver pledge out of Newport Beach (Calif.) Newport Harbor has been tearing up camps and 7on7 tournaments throughout the country lately and that trend continued in Texas this past weekend.
Anderson was at the Overtime OT7 South Regional in Austin and was on a mission all weekend. He typically plays for Team Toa but switched things up to run with the Trillion Boys.
247Sports' Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong tabbed Anderson as the Alpha Dog of the tournament after he hauled in a ridiculous 15 touchdown catches in two days of competition.
Here's what Wiltfong had to say on the Oregon wide receiver commit.
"Newport Beach (Calif.) Newport Harbor Top247 receiver
Jordan Anderson
seemed to have reservations for six all weekend, as the Oregon commit was in the end zone over and over for a Trillion Boys team that made it to the quarterfinals.
He made a lot of clutch plays during elimination play, a smooth route runner that easily creates separation, has the body control to make the tough catch look easy and loves to be the guy in the biggest moments. Anderson has been committed to Oregon since December but said he could visit Colorado in the near future. He is tabbed by 247Sports as the nation’s No. 14 receiver and No. 81 prospect overall."

Anderson is squarely in the mix for the title of California's top wide receiver, playing in a talent-rich Southern California that also features talents like Sierra Canyon's Xavier Jordan and Millikan's Ryan Pellum, who both hold Oregon offers and are being recruiting by Junior Adams.
Anderson is the highest-rated commit in Oregon's 2024 class which ranks No. 11 nationally and No. 1 in the Pac-12. He's one of two wide receivers who have made a verbal pledge to the Ducks alongside Tyseer Denmark from Philadelphia.
Schools like Colorado, USC and Tennessee continue to give chase in his recruitment.
