Tionne Gray Flips Commitment From Missouri Tigers to Oregon Ducks
It's time to get out your spatulas.
2024 St. Louis (MO) Hazelwood Central defensive lineman Tionne Gray has flipped his commitment from the Missouri Tigers to the Oregon Ducks.
"After careful consideration I have decided to de-commit from the University of Missouri," Gray wrote in a social media post. "This is not a decision that I take lightly, however I must make the best decision for my life and football future. I have decided to commit to the University of Oregon. I look forward to Saturdays in Eugene."
Gray's commitment comes right on the heels of an unofficial visit to Eugene this past weekend. His pledge is the third in less than a week for Oregon, as the Ducks also secured commitments from Texas safety Aaron Flowers and in-state offensive tackle Trent Ferguson in the 2024 recruiting class.
Oregon's newest commit is rated a four-star (0.9007) recruit by the 247Sports Composite. The same system ranks him the No. 327 player nationally, the No. 34 defensive lineman and the No. 9 recruit in Missouri.
Gray is the second commit along the front seven for Oregon in 2024, as he joins four-star Arizona edge rusher Jaxson Jones.
The Ducks are also in the running for defensive linemen like Nigel Smith II (Melissa, TX), Aydin Breland (Santa Ana, CA) and Joseph Jonah-Ajonye (Conroe, TX) this cycle.
