Penn State announced the final game of its 2023-24 men's basketball schedule Tuesday, a December trip to New York to face Georgia Tech at Madison Square Garden.

The Nittany Lions will play Georgia Tech on Dec. 16 as part of the triple-header Holiday Festival at Madison Square Garden. The Penn State-Georgia Tech game is scheduled for a noon ET tip-off. Big Ten Network will televise.

Penn State and Georgia Tech will kick off a three-game day at Madison Square Garden. St. John's will play Fordham in a men's game at 3:30 p.m., followed by St. John's vs. Villanova in a women's game at 6 p.m. Penn State will play at Madison Square Garden for the first time since winning the 2018 NIT tournament title. Penn State and Georgia Tech are playing for the first time since 2016. The Lions are 3-1 all-time against Georgia Tech.

Penn State-Georgia Tech is the last game to be announced on the Nittany Lions' 2023-24 men's basketball schedule. Penn State kicks off the season Nov. 6 against Delaware State at the Bryce Jordan Center. The Lions' schedule includes a Thanksgiving tournament in Orlando and a return trip to the Palestra in Philadelphia in January.
