The Dec. 30 Peach Bowl between No. 10 Penn State and No. 11 Ole Miss is sold out, bowl officials announced Thursday. The game is scheduled for a noon ET kickoff at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium, whose capacity is 71,000. Peach Bowl tickets are sold out for the 24th time in 27 years, according to bowl officials.

The Peach Bowl has attracted more than 3.2 million fans to Atlanta since its inaugural game in 1968. The game has averaged 68,348 fans per game and set a record attendance at last year's College Football Playoff semifinal game between Georgia and Ohio State. The crowd of 79,330 set a Mercedes-Benz Stadium record, surpassing that of Super Bowl LIII.

Peach Bowl tickets are available through the secondary market on Ticketmaster and other sites. Peach Bowl ticket prices started at $61 on Stubhub, another ticket reseller.

Penn State (10-2) is playing in the Peach Bowl for the first time. The Nittany Lions also are playing Ole Miss (10-2) for the first time. Penn State can become the first college program to win every New Year's 6 bowl game with a victory in the 2023 Peach Bowl.

"They say styles make great fights, and we've got a greatfight with one of the top offenses in the country and the toptotal defense in the country," said Gary Stokan, president and CEO of the Peach Bowl. "A top ten quarterback [Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart] and top ten running back [Ole Miss' Quinshon Judkins] against the No. 1 total defense in the country. We've got SEC vs. Big Ten."

"When you talk about two programs with such a strong brand and reputation and history, like Penn State and Ole Miss, also pretty cool that Penn State has never played in the Peach Bowl, which is something that's unusual in 2023," Penn State coach James Franklin said. "There's not too many things you can say that's never happened, especially for a program like Penn State. Should be a great experience for our players, should be a great experience for our fans. Obviously the matchup between the Big Ten and the SEC, two of the most respected conferences in all of college football."
