ACC Announces 2022 Conference Awards, All-ACC Teams
The ACC has announced the 2021-2022 men's basketball awards and All-ACC teams for this past season.
Wake Forest guard Alondes Williams has been named the ACC Player of the Year, with his head coach Steve Forbes being named Coach of the Year. Williams averaged 19.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and a league-high 5.3 assists per game this season. He enters the ACC Tournament one point behind Syracuse's Buddy Boeheim for the ACC scoring lead.
Duke forward Paolo Banchero was named conference Rookie of the Year, while his teammate, center Mark Williams, earned Defensive Player of the Year.
N.C. State guard Dereon Seabron was named Most Improved Player.
