Pitt's Blake Hinson Named First-Team All-ACC
WASHINGTON, DC -- Pitt Panthers forward Blake Hinson followed up a fantastic first season in Pittsburgh with an even better final act in his super senior season.
Hinson, a Second-Team All-ACC selection last year, has earned First-Team All-ACC honors in 2024. He is the Panthers' third first-team All-ACC selection since they joined the league in 2013.
Justin Champagnie (2021) and Jamarius Burton (2023) are the only other Pitt players to have earned the distinction.
Hinson averaged a career-high in points (18.8) and was the second-leading scorer in the conference during the regular season. He led the league in 3-point makes with 106 - which also represents a single-season record in Pitt history - and he made them at a 42.4% rate, the third-best in the conference, while taking a career-high in attempts at more than eight per game.
