Grand Valley State Transfer WR Jahdae Walker Picks Up Pitt Offer
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are running thin on wide receivers at the moment, even after making an addition through the transfer portal prior to the beginning of spring ball. They are still searching high and low for receivers to help them fill the void and one of those receivers could come from a lower division of college football.
The Panthers extended an offer to Grand Valley State (Division II) transfer Jahdae Walker, a 6'4, 200-pound wideout with two years of eligibility left. Pitt is one of many FBS programs to offer Walker. Illinois, Mississippi State, Colorado, Texas A&M, UConn and more have reached out.
Walker was the leading receiver for the 12-1 Lakers last season. He caught 30 passes for 623 yards - an average of 20.77 yards per reception - and four touchdowns as a sophomore.
