PITTSBURGH -- Former Pitt Panthers wideout Jordan Addison still has a lot of love for the school he committed to coming out of high school and he showed some of it on Sunday Night Football.

As Addison and the Minnesota Vikings offense took the field for the first time against the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football, his player introduction included a nod to both Pitt and the school he finished his college career with.

Addison capped his time with the Panthers with a masterful 2021, Biletnikoff Award-winning campaign in 2021. Combining with Heisman Finalist quarterback Kenny Pickett, he hauled in 100 passes for 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns.

He infamously transferred to USC amid allegations of tampering and illegal use of NIL from the Trojans that went unproven following his record-breaking season. He accounted for 908 total yards and eight total touchdowns with the Trojans during an injury-hampered 2022 season.

The Vikings took Addison with the 23rd overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, making him the third former Pitt player drafted in the first round over the past two years.
