The Pitt Panthers are amongst the last nine undefeated football teams.

PITTSBURGH -- The No. 18 Pitt Panthers continue to stay undefeated heading into November, joining just one of eight teams left to do so at the FBS level.

Pitt is 7-0 for the first time since 1982, when Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino was a senior. They are also 3-0 and coming off a 41-13 blowout of Syracuse at home, which saw them make five interceptions and return three for touchdowns.

Then ranked No. 23 Navy lost to rival in then ranked No. 12 Notre Dame in a 51-14 drubbing at home. Liberty also lost their first match of the season to FBS newcomer Kennesaw State, 27-24 on the road, dropping the number of undefeated teams from 10 to just eight.
