PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers will be without a pair of crucial starters again in Week 7 with a highly-ranked opponent in town.

The Panthers will be without linebacker Kyle Louis and center Jake Kradel for the third straight game as they host the undefeated, No. 14 Louisville Cardinals at Acrisure Stadium, looking to break a four-game losing streak.

Louis played all of the Virginia Tech game and had been filling in capably for starter Bangally Kamara, who had been out with a foot injury. But Kamara was dressed ahead of kickoff against the Cardinals and indicating that he is ready to play. Louis was wearing a large brace around his left leg.

Brandon George and Brayland Lovelace had stepped up as reserves with Kamara out as well, but will likely see a step back in playing time with the starter back.

Kradel went down in practice prior to the North Carolina game in Week 5 with an undisclosed injury. Terrance Moore replaced him at center and has played well in his absence.
