Pitt Offers Second Former Purdue WR

The Pitt Panthers continue their search for a transfer wide receiver.

PITTSBURGH -- With their leading receiver headed to the NFL Draft, the Pitt Panthers have begun to search for a way to replace his production.

The Pitt staff has been exploring their options in the transfer portal and they've found a new target - former Purdue wideout Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen, who picked up an offer from the Panthers this week.

Minnesota, South Florida, Liberty, Bowling Green, East Carolina, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Michigan State, Washington State, Eastern Michigan, South Carolina and Ball State have extended offers as well.

Yaseen has caught 34 passes for 456 yards and no touchdowns in 18 career games at Purdue. The 6'2 and 200-pound redshirt junior has two seasons of eligibility remaining in his college career.

The Panthers had already offered Yaseen's teammate and another Purdue wide receiver transfer, T.J. Sheffield earlier this week.
