PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers will be without a pair of backups from the offensive side of the ball this week as they wrap up the regular season against Duke at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham, North Carolina.

Both offensive guard Blake Zuboivc and tight end Jake Renda - both reserves at their respective positions - did not travel with the Panthers for undisclosed reasons.

Zubovic began the season as a starter at left guard but, after a season during which he's struggled on the field and battled injuries, he was demoted to a backup role behind Jake Kradel. Jason Collier Jr., also listed as a co-starter at right guard, is now Kradel's backup.

Renda has appeared in just three games this season and caught two passes for 14 yards. He might have been able to see an uptick in playing time this week, with starter Gavin Bartholomew sidelined by a foot injury. Malcolm Epps and Karter Johnson are the only two tight ends from the depth chart who are expected to be healthy for this game.
