PITTSBURGH -- Gerald Drumgoole began his college basketball career six years ago with the Pitt Panthers and now he is looking for a fourth school to end his time in college at.

Drumgoole, a member of the 2019 recruiting class that signed with Pitt, has entered the transfer portal for a third time, Verbal Commits announced early this week. He had spent his years since leaving Pittsburgh at Albany and Delaware.

Drumgoole, a former three-star recruit per On3 and Rivals, struggled to find consistent minutes until his first senior season with the Great Danes in 2022-23, when he averaged a career-high 15.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 34% from 3-point range. After joining the Blue Hens for the 2023-24 season, Drumgoole took fewer shots but was more efficient, averaging 13.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while making 43% of his field goals and 37% of his triples.

Drumgoole didn't play much during his time in Pittsburgh and struggled to produce but change of scenery opened new doors for a productive career. Now he'll be looking for a good place to put a bow on his time in college.
