PITTSBURGH -- To mark the launch of his new Pitt Panthers-themed personal apparel brand, former Pitt defender Louis Riddick donned a black jacket with the Panther head logo on the chest during an appearance on ESPN's Get Up this week.

Riddick has never been shy about promoting his love for Pitt on social media and the ariwaves and he's only extending his reach back into his college days by unveiling a new line of blue and gold clothing with his signature touch on it.

Riddick partnered with Mitchell and Ness to put his own personal stamp on Pitt jackets, shirts and jerseys and, after teasing the new products last week, has given fans a closer look at the new products on social media. The line of clothing will officially go on sale this weekend outside Acrisure Stadium before kickoff of the Pitt spring football game.

Riddick began his college football career as a running back but quickly switched to corner back after seeing only limited action in his first season of college football. Two years, 21 games and a pair of interceptions later, Riddick was drafted in the ninth round of the 1991 Draft by the San Francisco 49ers.

After six years in the NFL split between the Falcons, Browns and Raiders, Riddick retired and is now all the way in on a successful broadcasting career. He's worked as a commentator on ESPN's NFL and college football coverage and has even been interviewed for a handful of front office jobs in the NFL in recent years.
