Former Pitt DB Jordan Whitehead Signs With Jets
Former Pitt safety Jordan Whitehead has found a new home in the NFL, signing a new deal with the New York Jets, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini.
Whiteheads is just 24-years-old and heading into his fifth NFL season. He'll carry 55 starts, 292 tackles and 5 interceptions into New York.
Whitehead has made the most of his NFL career since being a fourth-round pick out of Pitt in 2018. He was considered a highly-touted free agent this spring and should receive a decent salary with his new contract.
Details of the deal have not yet been released. Inside the Panthers will continue to update this article as information becomes available.
