In-State Pitt RB Target Sets Commitment Date
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers have been pursuing this in-state running back since last fall and he is now on the verge of making a final decision.
Tre McLeod, a three-star running back from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by way of Cheltenham High School, said he would commit in August at the beginning of his own senior season. McLeod will choose from a top eight that includes Pitt, Penn State, Cinncinati, Rutgers, Nebraska, Syracuse, Texas A&M and Ole Miss.
McLeod, a 5'9, 193-pound tailback, has visited Penn State, Cinncinati, Pitt, Rutgers and James Madison at different points this fall. He is a unanimous three-star prospect, ranked as high as the No. 11 player in Pennsylvania and No. 38 running back nationally in the class of 2024, according to 247Sports' latest rankings.
