PITTSBURGH -- Wide receivers are going to be a crucial part of the Pitt Panthers next recruiting class, with the program light on bodies at the moment. That makes this visit for a receiver from Georgia crucial.

Ricky Johnson, a three-star wideout from Warner Robbins, Georgia and Houston County High School, was in Pittsburgh to meet with the Pitt coaching staff this week, per his Twitter account.

Johnson is rated as a three-star prospect in the class of 2024 by 247Sports, which is the only outlet to have given him a rating. They rank the 6'1, 180-pound receiver as the No. 90 player in his state and No. 117 at his position in the class of 2024.

Johnson holds offers from Pitt, who offered just last month, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Penn State, Wake Forest, Mississippi State, UCF, Virginia Tech, Iowa State, Vanderbilt, Memphis and others. He's visited with the Yellow Jackets as well this spring.
